The Texans pushed its lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning with a RBI-single through the right side of the infield from
Jared Musgrove and then added another run in the bottom half of the fifth inning on a RBI-single from
Evan Robinson.
Tarleton added an insurance run in the Texan-half of the sixth with a RBI-single from Boothe, making it a 5-1 game before Robertshaw closed out the game.
The Texans trailed 2-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth, but a two-run inning gave Tarleton its first lead of the series finale and
Landon Thompson added to that lead in the bottom of the sixth inning with a two-run home run over the left field fence.
CU came back with its own two-run homer in the top of the eighth inning to pull within a run, but the Texans managed to drive in another two runs in the bottom half of the inning on Robinson's single past the Aggie's defense that was pulled in.
Robertshaw (S, 6) picked up his sixth save of the season as he shut down the Aggie lineup for a second time on Sunday.
Tarleton had seven pitchers used in the final game, but it was
Tanner Ross (W, 1-2) that was on the mound when the Texans took the 3-2 lead and he picked up the win for the Texans.
