THE GAMES
Fresh off a 78-70 win over Texas Wesleyan last weekend, Tarleton State will hit the road for the first time this season to take part in the Lubbock Christian Tournament Friday and Saturday. The TexAnns will play tournament-host Lubbock Christian Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and wrap up the action Saturday at 5:30 p.m. against Texas-Permian Basin.

THE BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the TexAnns, Keltin Wiens, will serve as the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. Due to a conflict with men's basketball, Friday's game will be broadcasted on KXTR 100.7 FM and online at www.kxtr.net. Saturday's game can be found back on the original home of Tarleton State Athletics, the Tarleton Sports Network.

THE OPPONENT: LCU
Fresh off a 25-1 season in their inaugural season in NCAA Division II, the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps have opened the 2014-15 campaign with two wins in their first three games. LCU has cour players averaging over double figures per game, including Haley Burton who is scoring 19.3 points per game.

THE OPPONENT: UTPB
Texas-Permian Basin has jumped out to an incredible start this season, opening up at 3-0 including a season-opening win over the preseason No. 1 team in the nation West Texas A&M. The Falcons are led by Valerie Barriga who is pacing the team, and the Heartland Conference, in scoring with 22.3 points per game.

THE SERIES: LCU
This is the 22nd meeting all-time between the TexAnns and Lady Chaps dating back to the inaugural meeting in 1980. Tarleton has dominated the series, winning 19 games against LCU, including seven of the last eight. Last season in the first meeting between these two schools as NCAA competitors, Tarleton defeated LCU in the TexAnn Tip-Off Classic to hand LCU its only loss of the season.

THE SERIES: UTPB
This is the 11th meeting all-time between Tarleton and UTPB dating back to the first game in 2004. The TexAnns won the first seven before UTPB won two straight. Tarleton won the last meeting in Stephenville 81-76 in 2012.

SOLO DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Ikpeaku Iwobi recorded her fourth career double-double Saturday night with 13 points and 10 rebounds. She is currently the only TexAnn on the active roster with a career double-double.

MOORE vs LCU
Karli Moore is the only TexAnn with more than one career game against LCU under her belt. In two meetings, Moore averages 7.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game against LCU.

TEXANNS vs UTPB
Tarleton has only two players with history against UTPB. Morgan Ashmore and Karli Moore have each played in two games against the Falcons. In the last meeting in Dec. 2012, Ashmore had eight points and seven assists. In the first meeting for them in Nov. 2012, Moore had eight points and seven rebounds.

MILESTONE WATCH
• Tarleton State has three players closing in on 100 career rebounds. Senior Kathy Thomas is four (4) boards away, Ikpeaku Iwobi is three (3) boards away and Raven McGrath is two (2) rebounds away from the century mark.
Morgan Ashmore is 10 assists short of 200 for her career, which would make her the 17th TexAnn in school history to reach 200 career dimes. With 13 more assists, she will pass Brianna Bledsoe (202) for 15th all-time.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will come home to Wisdom Gym on December 2 for the first game of a Tuesday night doubleheader against Arlington Baptist at 5:30 p.m.
