THE GAME
In search of its eighth win in row, No. 6 Tarleton State will host Paul Quinn Monday night in Wisdom Gym at 7 p.m.

THE BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans, Casey Hogan, will be back calling the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. The radio broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes prior to tip-off.

THE OPPONENT
Paul Quinn enters the game with a record of 3-8. The Tigers started the season with two straight wins and then got a 75-59 win in their last game against Huston-Tillotson. In between, however, the Tigers dropped eight straight.

THE SERIES
Since Lonn Reisman took over the program in 1988, Tarleton and Paul Quinn have met seven times with the Texans winning five. The first meeting came just six games in to Reisman's storied career at Tarleton when the rookie head coach won 78-68. After the Tigers won the next two games, Tarleton has since won four straight including the last meeting in 2011.

SOME KIND OF RUN
Since the beginning of last season, Tarleton State has amassed an overall record of 35-3 for a winning percentage of .921. There are only two other Division II teams in the country with three losses since the start of last season - Metro State (38-3; .927) and Lincoln Memorial (37-3; .925).

UNDEFEATED START TO THE SEASON
Tarleton State has started a season 7-0 twice under head coach Lonn Reisman - last year in the midst of a senior-college era record win streak of 18-straight victories to open the season and this season. As long as Tarleton remains undefeated, it will continue to match only last season's season-opening streak.

TARLETON IN NATIONAL POLLS
After starting the season ranked No. 12 in the nation, Tarleton State has since moved up six total spots to No. 6 in the latest edition of the polls after starting the season 7-0. This now marks the 21st consecutive week in which Tarleton has appeared in the national rankings after joining the top-25 on Nov. 19 last season.

NABC HISTORY
Of the 89 weeks in the NABC rankings, Tarleton has spent 55 of those weeks in the top 10, 36 in the top 5 and eight weeks at No. 1.

THE MEDIA POLL
There is a new poll released in its first year of existence. The D2 Media Poll, sponsored by D2SIDA, has a regional poll released every Monday, followed by a national poll every Tuesday. Each region has two representatives that comprise the regional poll. The Texans are tied for No. 5 in the latest media-voted ranking.

REISMAN IN DECEMBER
Lonn Reisman enters the month of December with five games on the schedule. His all-time record for the Christmas month is 94-36 for a winning percentage of .721. He is 2-0 in December games this season.

TEXANS AT HOME
In Coach Reisman's 27 seasons at Tarleton State, the Texans have amassed a total record of 361-61 including a record of 143-13 with two undefeated home seasons since 2005.

KEEPING IT IN THE TARLETON FAMILY
Every assistant coach on this season's Tarleton Basketball coaching staff are all graduates of Tarleton State University.

LONE UNDEFEATED IN LSC
Tarleton State is the last undefeated team standing in the Lone Star Conference at 6-0. Angelo State dropped its first game of the season 68-70 at Colorado Mesa and are now 7-1 in second place behind the Texans.

• No. 12 in Scoring Margin (20.1)
• No. 29 in FG Defense (.397)
• No. 1 in Win-Loss Percentage (1.000) as one of 21 NCAA Division II undefeated teams in the country.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
This is Tarleton's final home game before making its first road trip of the season.
