After moving to Division II in 1994, In the first 23 meetings as NCAA rivals, Angelo had the upper hand with a 12-11 advantage but a Tarleton win in February 2009 started a run of seven wins in the last 10 meetings, including a win earlier this season.

O'DELL STEPPING UP
In the four games since

Â
EYEING ADAMSON AS SCHOOL'S ALL-TIME NCAA SCORING LEADER
Kiara Wright is quickly approaching her former teammate, Shelby Adamson, as the school's all-time scoring leader in Tarleton's NCAA era. The senior All-American currently has 1522 points and is 23 points away from passing Adamson's mark of 1,544. Wright and Adamson played alongside each other for two seasons and the tandem led Tarleton to its first LSC Championship in school history in 2011-12. The pair played in 51 games and started 25 of them together. Wright outscored Adamson 17 times in their two-year career as teammates and once, in the 2011-12 season, both players scored at least 20 points in the same game.
Â
SCOUTING THE RAMBELLES
When Angelo visited the TexAnns in early January, the victory by Tarleton was the beginning of a tough stretch for the Rambelles. Beginning with the loss to Tarleton, Angelo lost four of its next six conference games but has since rebounded to win three of the last four with all three wins coming by double figures. Since LSC play began, the Rambelles have just one player who has started all 11 league games - their leading scorer with 10.0 points per game, Rochelle Norris.
