It is Stephenville Night in Wisdom Gym and all Stephenville residents - with proof of residency - will receive free admission into the game. For all other fans, admission and all concessions will be $1.

THE BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the TexAnns, Keltin Wiens, will serve as the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. The radio broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes prior to tip-off.

THE OPPONENT
The debut season of new head coach Wade Scott has been a struggle as the Javelinas enter Saturday's game with a winless record. In the first 12 games of the season, Kingsville has only scored over 70 points one time - a 71-80 loss to St. Mary's in November. They have been held under 50 points in six games so far.
IN SEARCH OF OFFENSE
Texas A&M-Kingsville enters Saturday's game as the worst ranked offense in the Lone Star Conference at 52.8 points per game. The 52.8 points per game is also in the bottom five in the nation in scoring offense. Micah Weaver, however, is the 16th ranked scorer in the LSC.

THE SERIES
The Tarleton-Kingsville rivalry has been around since the inaugural meeting in 1986 when the two Texas A&M system school met in Stephenville on Janaury 3. Tarleton owns the all-time edge 21-18, but the series has been one-sided since the 2014 calendar year. Tarleton has won 18 of the last 20 meetings in this series with the only two losses coming by a combined five points (78-82; 61-62). The TexAnns have won nine straight against the Javelinas dating back to Feb. 20, 2010.

TARLETON IN THE LSC
Tarleton State has developed into one of the premier basketball programs in the nation, as well as within the Lone Star Conference. The TexAnns earned their first league championship in 2012 and reached the finals of the LSC Championship Tournament for the second time in three years last season. Since joining the LSC as an NCAA institution in 1994, the TexAnns have a record of 163-139 against conference foes, including five seasons - four consecutive - of over 10 conference wins.

MILESTONE WATCH
•With 214 career assists, Morgan Ashmore is currently tied with Stephanie Upshaw (214) for 13th place on the all-time list. She is seven (7) dimes from passing Karla Dick (220) for the No. 12 spot.
Karli Moore is eight (8) points away from reaching 400 points in her four-year Tarleton career.

WILSON IN JANUARY
Since the 2010-11 season, Wilson and the TexAnns are 29-6 in the month of January.

FINALLY BACK TO WISDOM
There have been 38 days in between home games for the TexAnns, who last played at Wisdom Gym on Dec. 2 against Arlington Baptist. The 38 days between home games is the longest Tarleton has gone without a home game in the middle of a season since going 41 days from Nov. 18 to Dec. 30, 2000.

WILSON THROUGH 10
Misty Wilson's 7-3 record through her first 10 games is the best start to a career for a Tarleton head coach who began their career in the NCAA era.

STREAKING AGAINST KINGSVILLE
Tarleton State has won nine straight games against Texas A&M-Kingsville, which is tied for the fourth longest active streak against an NCAA-era opponent. The other streaks are 23 straight against McMurry, 15 straight against Eastern New Mexico, 11 straight against St. Edward's and nine (9) straight against East Central (Okla.).

TOPS IN THE NATION
Tarleton State ranks among the nations best in multiple statistical categories, including:
• No. 23 in 3-pt Defense (.261)
• No. 26 in FT percentage (.750)

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
