THE GAMES
After a lengthy stay in Lawton, Tarleton State will have no days off before taking the field again as the Texans begin a four-game home stand Tuesday afternoon at Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex with a 2 p.m. game against No. 13 St. Mary's.

THE OPPONENT
St. Mary's enters Tuesday's contest ranked No. 13 in the nation with a record of 30-10, with three of those losses coming at the hands of the Texans. The Rattlers have five players hitting over .300, led by Brooks Orton at .386, and are top-20 in the nation in earned run average with a 3.21 mark as a staff. Oscar Sepulveda (1.31) and Matt McClain (1.66) pace the Rattler staff with sub-2.00 ERAs.

THE SERIES
The teams have met four times this season, including the second game of the season at Minute Maid Park in Houston. Tarleton took three of the first four games this season against the Rattlers, highlighted with a series win in San Antonio on Valentine's Day weekend. Tuesday's game is a makeup game due to a rain out earlier this season.

GETTING 200
With a 3-1 win Friday over Cameron, head coach Bryan Conger reached the 200-win mark that only Tarleton Hall of Fame coach, Jack Allen, has eclipsed since Tarleton reinstated baseball in 1988. Conger has the second-most wins in Tarleton's new-era history behind Allen (565) and ahead of his immediate predecessor, Trey Felan (145).

CHASING .400
Texan catcher Jonathan Schmitz is hitting .396 on the season to lead all hitters in the Lone Star Conference. Schmitz' .496 on-base percentage is also tops in the LSC and is .059 points ahead of second place.

SOLO CONTEST
This game is the only non-series game that Tarleton State will play in a non-neutral site during the regular season.

FINAL HOME STAND
Tuesday begins a four-game home stand for the home finale of the 2015 campaign. The Texans will host West Texas A&M this weekend to complete the home schedule before traveling to Kingsville next weekend for the final games of the regular season.

UP NEXT
The Texans return home for a non-conference game against St. Mary's on April 21 before a three-game series versus West Texas A&M in the final Lone Star Conference home series of the regular season on April 24.
