THE GAME
Tarleton will look to keep the good times rolling Wednesday night when the TexAnns head to D.L. Ligon Coliseum for a showdown with Lone Star Conference rival Midwestern State at 5:30 p.m.

THE BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the TexAnns, Keltin Wiens, will serve as the play-by-play this season. The radio broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes prior to tip-off.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton used a 29-point fourth quarter to come back and defeat Texas A&M-Kingsville 68-55 and give the TexAnns its second straight Lone Star Conference win. Junior Bailey Wipff posted a game-high 20 points and had three steals, while Meagan O'Dell scored 10 off the bench including nine in the second half.

THE OPPONENT
After losing eight seniors from last year's squad, Midwestern State has struggled through a rebuilding season thus far and are out to a 2-11 start this season. The Mustangs are riding the momentum of their first conference win in their last outing when they defeated Eastern New Mexico 61-55 at the Dome. The league's last-ranked scoring offense is led by Jacquar Westbrooks (7.9 ppg) off the bench.

THE SERIES
In arguably the richest history against any one opponent since 1979, Tarleton trails the series 27-33 since the 1979-80 season. Tarleton, who trails the series 20-21 since Tarleton became an NCAA institution in 1994, will have a chance to even up its NCAA record against the Mustangs with a win.

WIPFF'S START TO LSC PLAY
In her first four Lone Star Conference games this season, Bailey Wipff is off to one of the best conference starts in the league. The junior guard is averaging 20.0 points per game and has three of her four career 20-point games since LSC play began - including two straight. In her career, she has 234 points in 20 career LSC games for a career LSC average of 11.7 points to per game.

MEMORABLE FOE FOR WILSON
Midwestern State will be a memorable foe for Misty Wilson as the TexAnns defeated No. 20 Midwestern State to deliver Wilson her first win as a head coach over a ranked opponent.

WILSON IN JANUARY
Since 2011, Misty Wilson and the Tarleton TexAnns boast a record of 35-9 in the month of January, for a winning percentage of .795.

THE 20-POINT MARK
Bailey Wipff has scored at least 20 points in two straight games and three of her last four since starting LSC action. She is the first TexAnn guard to scored 20 points in back-to-back games since Peyton Adamson scored at least 20 points in three straight games from Feb. 9-16, 2013. Adamson went for 21, 30, and 25 against Abilene Christian, Texas A&M-Kingsville, and Incarnate Word, respectively, over that span.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will return home for a Sunday afternoon showdown with Texas Woman's at 2 p.m.
