THE GAME
Tarleton will host Texas Woman's in a rare, but crucial, Sunday afternoon Lone Star Conference game in Wisdom Gym at 2 p.m.
 
THE BROADCAST
The game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the TexAnns, Keltin Wiens, will serve as the play-by-play this season. The radio broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. The pregame show will begin 15 minutes prior to tip-off.
 
SPECIAL GUEST ON AIR
One of the newest additions to the Tarleton Athletics Hall of Fame, Katie Crawford-Morgan, will join Keltin Wiens on the radio broadcast.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton's attempt at a third straight Lone Star Conference win came up short as the TexAnns dropped a road contest to Midwestern State 56-52.
 
THE OPPONENT
Texas Woman's is currently enjoying one of its best seasons in school history as the Pioneers are tied atop the Lone Star Conference standings with West Texas A&M. Texas Woman's currently boasts the second-best scoring defense in the conference, which is also No. 33 in the nation at 57.8 points per game. Erin Maxwell leads the way for the Pioneers with 12.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game.
 
THE SERIES
Sunday marks the 43rd all-time meeting between the Pioneers and TexAnns, who hold the leads in the series 28-14 since the inaugural meeting in 1983. Tarleton has dominated the series in Stephenville, winning 18 of the 20 all-time meetings of the series in Wisdom Gym. The TexAnns have won 14 straight over the Pioneers in Stephenville; including an overtime win on Super Bowl Sunday in Wisdom Gym last year.
 
WIPFF'S START TO LSC PLAY
In her first four Lone Star Conference games this season, 
Bailey Wipff is off to one of the best conference starts in the league. The junior guard is averaging 17.6 points per game and has three of her four career 20-point games since LSC play began.

Since 2011, 
Misty Wilson and the Tarleton TexAnns boast a record of 35-10 in the month of January, for a winning percentage of .778.
 
REBOUNDING TOWARDS HISTORY
With 525 career points and 434 rebounds, 
Ikpeaku Iwobi is 66 boards away from eclipsing the 500-rebound mark in her career. There have only been four players in Tarleton's NCAA era to score 500 career points and grab 500 career rebounds - Kiara Wright (1,497p; 1,075r), JoAnne Jones (998p; 561r), Brittnie Haley (738p; 447r), and Amanda Franklin (722p; 516r).
