STEPHENVILLE – No. 22 Tarleton outscored Southwestern Adventist by 48 points in the second half en route to a 113-50 win on Wednesday afternoon in Wisdom Gym.

All 11 players that suited up for Tarleton scored at least three points and five players scored in double figures in the lopsided win.

Tarleton improved to 5-0 all time against SWAU and has won all five match-ups by at least 40 points. It's Tarleton's largest margin of victory since 2013 when the Texans beat Dallas Christian 106-41.

Tarleton (15-4) used an early 9-0 run to jump ahead of the Knights at 20-9.
Romond Jenkins had a pair of dunks during the stretch and finished with a career-high 12 points along with five rebounds.

Charles Hill drained a 3-point basket with 30 seconds left in the first half to put the Texans on top 51-36 at the break. Hill scored 17 points on 7-13 shooting, giving the senior guard 80 points in his last four games.

Tarleton came out in the second half and held Southwestern Adventist to 14 points while Tarleton scored 62.
EJ Reed scored 13 points alone in the second half and finished with a game-high 24 points, six rebounds and three blocks.

The Texans led 58-42 and used a 19-0 run and a 22-0 run to pull away from the undersized Knights.

Tarleton's big men were the difference down low as the Texans out-rebounded the Knights 50-24.
Xavier Smith matched his career high with 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds.
Chantz Chambers and
Jakob Damstra came off the bench to set new career highs with each grabbing nine rebounds. Chambers added seven points and Damstra had five.

Deshawn Riddick (7) and
Michael Hardge (6) combined for more assists than Southwestern Adventist had as a team (4). The seven assists for Riddick is a career best and Tarleton improves to 20-2 all time when Hardge records at least five assists. Hardge also added 13 points and a pair of steals in the win.

Sawyer Kipp had seven points,
Nosa Ebomwonyi scored five points and
Jacob Morales added four points for Tarleton.

The Texans had 72 points in the paint to SWAU's 14 and Tarleton also had 20 points off turnovers to the Knights' 0.

Tarleton will return to Lone Star Conference play at home on Saturday, Jan. 30 against Texas A&M-Commerce at 7 p.m.
