THE GAME
Tarleton will officially begin the regular season this weekend when the TexAnns host the Whataburger Tip-Off Classic in Wisdom Gym. Tarleton will host Missouri S&T on Friday for the season opener before welcoming St. Mary's on Saturday at 5 p.m. to wrap up their annual season-opening tournament.
 
TARLETON SPORTS NETWORK
A complete broadcast of the game can be heard on the Tarleton Sports Network presented by the North Texas Ford Dealers. The new Voice of the TexAnns, Kyle Crews, and Byron Anderson will have the call on the flagship station of Tarleton Athletics – KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville – and worldwide at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. The game will also show free of charge on the Tarleton Sports Network online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive.
 
TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets are available at the Wisdom Gym Ticket Office. General admission seating is $7 for adults and $5 for non-Stephenville Campus Tarleton Students. Children ages two and under are admitted free of charge. Tarleton Athletics also promotes 'Reserved Ticket Exchange', which allows any reserved ticket holder not planning to attend the game to leave their seats to someone else by calling Beth at (254) 968-1832 in the Tarleton Ticket Office.

Tarleton will open the regular season on its home court in Wisdom Gym.
 
ABOUT THE TEXANNS
Tarleton played in two exhibition games this preseason, including a road trip to No. 6 Texas last Sunday. Tiara Tatum poured in 16 points on 6-10 shooting against Texas Wesleyan while Bailey Wipff scored nine points for Tarleton against the Longhorns. The TexAnns are in their third season under head coach Misty Wilson, who boasts a head coaching record of 34-21 in her first two seasons at the helm. Tarleton returns five letterwinners from last season, including All-LSC selections Bailey Wipff and Ikpeaku Iwobi. Wilson added five freshman and three transfers this offseason, highlighted by Division I newcomers Baylee Peck (Utah State) and Mackenzie Hailey (Texas-Arlington).
 
INSIDE THE SERIES VS. MISSOURI S&T
This is the first game Tarleton has played against the Missouri S&T.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES VS. ST. MARY'S
Tarleton and St. Mary's have square off 16 times in their respective histories, including each of the last six seasons. The TexAnns trail the all-time series 4-12 dating back to 1986, but the teams have split the last six meetings 3-3 dating back to 2010.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will head to Pueblo, Colorado for a two-day tournament at Massari Arena. The TexAnns will face Western State on Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. CST and Colorado State-Pueblo on Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. CST for back-to-back in-region contests.
