No. 7 Tarleton hosts its annual Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend with games against Colorado State-Pueblo on Friday and Emmanuel College on Saturday. Both games are at 7 p.m. in Wisdom Gym.

ABOUT THE TEXANS
Tarleton is coming off a 67-58 win over Concordia-Irvine to improve to 3-0 on the season. The Texans have started 3-0 for the fourth straight season. After opening the season at No. 10 in the NABC poll, the Texans climbed three spots to No. 7 in the first regular season NABC poll. Tarleton is averaging 76.4 points per game and holding opponents to 60.3 points.
Ridell Camidge comes in as the leading scorer for Tarleton, averaging 16 points per game.
Chantz Chambers is also in double figures with 13 points per game.
Romond Jenkins is second in the Lone Star Conference with 12.3 rebounds per game while also averaging 9.7 points.
Deshawn Riddick is the team-leader in assists at 2.7 per game.
ABOUT THE THUNDERWOLVES
Colorado State-Pueblo, who competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, is 1-2 on the season and won its first game Colorado-Colorado Springs, 83-61. The Thunderwolves are averaging 82.7 points on 52 percent shooting while allowing 78 points to opponents. CSU-Pueblo has six players scoring in double figures with Stevan Radakovic leading the team at 14.7 points. CSU-Pueblo has only played eight players this season with five players playing at least 25 minutes per game. The Thunderwolves' leading rebounder is Rico Spikes at six per game, while Will Newman averages five assists to lead the team.
ABOUT THE LIONS
Emmanuel, who competes in the Conference Carolinas, is 3-1 and has won three straight entering the weekend tournament. The Lions average 72.5 points on 42.8 percent shooting and give up 68.8 points. Emmanuel is led by Emerson McClung's 18.3 points per game on 50 percent shooting. The Lions have four players scoring in double figures per game. Zach Lillie is the team's leader in rebounds at 8.8 per contest, while Kendrick Colvin is dishing out 4.3 assists to lead the team.
