Tarleton looks to get back in the win column as the Texans travel to No. 20 Angelo State on Wednesday, Feb. 10 for a 7:30 p.m. game

THE OPPONENT: ANGELO STATE
Angelo State comes in with a 17-4 record overall and in a four-way tie for third in the Lone Star Conference standings with a 5-4 mark. The Rams are 9-1 at home this season and have won four straight in at the Junell Center. ASU ranks 10th in the NCAA in turnovers forced at 17.9, 13th in scoring margin (13.2) and 13th in scoring offense (89.2). The Rams are led by Tre Bennett's 16.8 points per game.

In the Lonn Reisman era (1988), Tarleton is 31-12 against ASU and 34-36 all time since the series began in 1965.  Tarleton won the last meeting 85-67, which ended ASU's 12-0 start to the season. Tarleton has won three straight against ASU and 6 of 7. Tarleton has split the last four meetings in San Angelo.
