THE GAME
Tarleton looks to win its second straight Lone Star Conference series as the Texans travel to Cameron for a 4-game series against the Aggies. Tarleton will play its first game on Saturday, March 19 at 3 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. and close out the series on Monday at 1 p.m.

CHANGE OF SCHEDULE
The series was originally schedule to begin on Friday, March 18, but weather in Lawton, Oklahoma forced the start of the series to be pushed back one day.

THE OPPONENT
Cameron is 13-6 on the season and 2-6 in the Lone Star Conference. The Aggies have dropped two straight games at home, but are 7-3 at McCord Field. Cameron has lost six of its last eight games after starting the season 11-0. Cody Bower leads the Aggies' offense with a .361 average and three home runs to go along with a team-high 15 RBIs. On the mound, Codey Upton is 2-0 with a 2.74 ERA for Cameron.

THE SERIES
Tarleton is 43-22 all-time against Cameron. The Texans won the series last season, 4-3. Tarleton is 23-11 when playing at Cameron and have won eight of the last nine games on the road dating back to 2012.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton took three of four at Cecil Ballow Complex against Eastern New Mexico. One day short of two full calendar years since his last pitching victory in a Tarleton Texan uniform, Jacob French returned to vintage form as the senior from Kingwood tied a career high with eight innings of work to deliver a 10-3 win for Tarleton against Eastern New Mexico in game two of the series in Stephenville. French, who missed all of last season with an injury, went eight innings allowing no earned runs on just five hits. He struck out seven and didn't walk a batter while holding the Greyhound offense to a mere .172 average through eight innings. The win came one day short of the complete two-year circle of his last win in a Tarleton uniform, which was March 14, 2014 against Cameron.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The Texans will travel to Texas A&M-Kingsville for a 4-game series starting Friday, March 25. The series is scheduled for a 1-2-1 format with the opener at 3 p.m.
