STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton fell 15-2 to Cameron in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Cecil Ballow Complex.

The Texans move to 19-23 overall and 13-16 in the Lone Star Conference, now a game back from the Aggies for the fourth and final playoff spot for the LSC tournament.

Cameron scored runs in six of the seven innings and held a 14-0 lead before Tarleton got on the board when
Jake Hasbrouck grounded out to bring home
Forrest Perron. The Aggies hit three home runs on the afternoon.

Peter McMahon hit his second home run of the season on a solo shot to right field in the seventh inning.

The Texans managed seven hits in the game with four of the hits coming from the first four in the lineup. Perron, Alec Humprheys,
Dalton Richardson,
Garret Kizer, McMahon,
Landon Thompson, and
Stacy Heinatz all collected hits.

Tarleton will play its final home series of the season when Texas A&M-Kingsville comes to town for a three-game series starting Friday, April 29 at 3 p.m.
