ABOUT THE TEXANNS
Tarleton is coming off its first loss of the season in the Lone Star Conference and also snapped a 17-game LSC winning streak. After a loss to Colorado Mesa on Sept. 9, the TexAnns won three straight and last season they had winning streaks of 11 and eight games after a loss. Â Tarleton is playing its first road games of the season, but did go 4-0 on the road at the Angelo State tournament to open the year (neutral games).
Hailey Roberts leads the LSC with 201 kills and ranks No. 1 in the nation with 5.43 kills per set. With 29 aces,
Jordyn Keamo ranks first in the nation.
Â
ABOUT WEST TEXAS A&M
The Lady Buffs have won four straight matches after starting the season 2-4. WT is playing its first conference home game after winning on the road at Cameron and Midwestern State. Tarleton is 5-42 all-time against West Texas A&M and 3-21 on the road, but the TexAnns have had the edge as of late, winning the last three matches, including two at WT.
Â
