STEPHENVILLE – No. 13 Tarleton men's basketball scored a season-high 111 points in a 111-63 nonconference rout over Arlington Baptist on Saturday in Wisdom Gym.

The win for Tarleton (15-2, 6-1 LSC) gave head coach
Lonn Reisman 400 career wins in Wisdom Gym. The winningest active NCAA head coach in Texas is 628-244 in his 29-year coaching career at Tarleton.

All 14 Texans scored in the lopsided win, including five in double figures, led by
Ridell Camidge's 22 points.

Tarleton jumped out to a double-digit lead quickly at 17-6 on
Josh Hawley's 3-point jumper. Hawley set a new career high with 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting to go with seven rebounds.

The Texans followed with a 15-3 run to extend the score to 34-12. Tarleton took advantage of Arlington Baptist's turnovers in the game (18) and turned them into fast break scoring opportunities as the Texans had 31 points off turnovers. Six Texans registered a steal in the game, with
Chantz Chambers leading the team with four steals.

Tarleton had a stretch of three straight dunks by Hawley and
Romond Jenkins, with Jenkins' steal at the top of the key turning into a high-flying one-handed slam over the defender while drawing the foul. Jenkins recorded his ninth double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Tarleton improves to 9-0 on the season when Jenkins registers a double-double.

Anthony Davis scored six straight points down the stretch in the first half for a 53-25 lead. Davis finished with 13 points and seven rebounds. Tarleton led 60-29 at the break while shooting 55 percent from the floor in the half and holding Arlington Baptist to 37 percent.

Chantz Chambers' 3-point bucket followed by a layup gave Tarleton a 40-point lead at 89-49 with 10:17 remaining. Chambers posted 14 points to go with his four steals.
Deshawn Riddick finished with 7 points and a team-high three assists.

As the lead continued to grow for the Texans, coach Reisman began subbing out his starters and the bench continued to produce. Tarleton had 43 points off the bench.

Sawyer Kipp (5),
Nosa Ebomwonyi and
Jacob Morales (3) scored in the second half. In addition,
Kealon Clayborne,
Curtiss Anderson,
Lance Ewell and
Ivan Tevis each scored two points to round out the Tarleton scoring.

Overall, Tarleton shot 53 percent from the floor on 19 assists. 10 different Texans recorded an assists in the game.

The Texans will host No. 15 West Texas A&M on Thursday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. for sole possession of first place in the Lone Star Conference.
