THE GAME
No. 11 Tarleton takes on No. 12 West Texas A&M for sole possession of first place in the Lone Star Conference. The two top-15 ranked teams will tip off on Thursday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Wisdom Gym. The Texans will then host UT-Permian Basin on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 4 p.m.
THE BROADCAST
Each game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans, Byron Anderson, will be calling the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. THE OPPONENT: WEST TEXAS A&M
West Texas A&M is 18-2 on the season and 6-1 in the LSC. The Buffs have won three straight games and are 2-2 on the road this season. WT averages 90.4 points per game on 45 percent shooting. WT also leads the nation in 3-pointers made and attempted (183-542). David Chavlovich leads the LSC in scoring at 21 ppg. Jordan Evans (13.8) and Carl White (10.1) also average double figures. Ryan Quaid is the leading rebounder at 5.7 rpg and Chavlovich leads the team with 4.7 assists per game.
THE SERIES: WEST TEXAS A&M
Tarleton is 23-24 all-time with West Texas A&M dating back to 1994 when the series began. The Texans are 14-7 against WT at home have won seven straight in Wisdom Gym against the Buffs dating back to 2009.
THE OPPONENT: UT-PERMIAN BASIN
UTPB is 12-4 overall and 4-3 in the LSC entering Thursday's game. The Falcons have won two straight but is 0-3 on the road this season. UTPB leads the LSC with 91.1 points per game and is shooting 47.4 percent from the floor. UTPB has five players averaging double figures, led by Daeshon Francis (18.9) and Johnnie Lacy (17.1). Sammy Allen leads the team with 10.4 rebounds per game while Lacy leads the team with 3.7 assists.
THE SERIES: UT-PERMIAN BASIN
Tarleton is 6-0 all time against UTPB dating back to 2006. The Texans have won all six games at home.

Tarleton defeated Arlington Baptist, 111-63 to improve to 15-2 on the season.
