Fresh off a bounce-back win over Regis Sunday afternoon, the Tarleton TexAnns will hit the road once again for their third game in four days Tuesday night when they travel to Lubbock for a 6 p.m. showdown with the leaders of the Heartland Conference standings, Lubbock Christian.

A LOOK BACK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton went 1-1 at the Best Western Pioneer Invitational at Texas Woman's over the weekend. The TexAnns suffered their first loss of the season Saturday afternoon to Central Oklahoma, but rebounded in a big way to defeat Regis 55-42 in Sunday's tournament finale. Mackenzie Hailey led the way with 15.0 points per game over the last two while McKinley Bostad averaged 11.5.
INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Lubbock Christian have met 23 times since the inaugural meeting in 1980 and the TexAnns own a 20-3 all-time lead. Tarleton won 18 of the first 19 meetings from 1980 until 2010. Since 2011, the teams have met four times and each won two. Lubbock Christian won the last meeting 75-66 in Stephenville last December.
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
After taking the court three times over four days, the TexAnns will have a nine-day layoff to enjoy the holidays before getting back to action for a November 30 showdown at Midwestern State to begin Lone Star Conference play.
