THE GAME
Tarleton men's basketball opens the regular season with the annual Texan Tip-Off Classic against a pair of RMAC schools. The Texans face Metro State on Friday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. followed by UC-Colorado Springs on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.
GAME PROMOTIONS
Friday night is 'Student Organization Night' at the basketball games. All on campus organizations are encouraged to come out and promote their organizations. In addition to them being recognized on the video board during the game, there will be pizza and free T-shirts on Rudder Way prior to the games courtesy of the Division of Student Affairs. Also, with both basketball teams and TexAnn volleyball playing at the same time, anyone who purchases a ticket for one of the events will be granted to access to watch all of them.

TICKET INFORMATION
The Tarleton State Ticket Office is open from 1:30-4 p.m. in the main lobby of Wisdom Gym and can be reached by telephone at 254-968-1832. Cash, check, and cards are all accepted. Tarleton's Stephenville Campus Students receive free admission to all home games with valid Stephenville Campus Student ID.
NABC RANKINGS
Tarleton received 10 votes in the first National Association of Basketball Coaches poll of the season. The Texans have been nationally ranked in each of the last four seasons.
A LOOK BACK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton fell to Texas A&M in a road exhibition game, 72-46. Corinthian Ramsey and Deshawn Riddick each posted 11 points to lead the Texans in scoring.
INSIDE THE SERIES: METRO STATE
Tarleton and Metro State are meeting for only the second time in program history. The first time came in 2013 during the first round of the NCAA regional tournament, where Metro won 76-65 in Denver.
INSIDE THE SERIES: UC-COLORADO SPRINGS
Tarleton is 3-0 all-time against UC-Colorado Springs since the two teams first met in 2015. All three games have been played in Stephenville, with the Texans winning by at least nine points in every game, including a 22-point rout in the second round of the NCAA regional tournament in 2015.
