THE GAME
Tarleton Football has been given one more opportunity to take the field in 2017 and will play postseason football for the first time since 2009 at the Corsicana Bowl Saturday at 2 p.m. at Tiger Stadium against Central Oklahoma.
ABOUT THE CORSICANA BOWL
The Corsicana Bowl is expected to be an annual Division II postseason football game held in Corsicana, Texas at Tiger Stadium. The 2017 game will be held on December 2nd at 12:00 p.m. The two participating teams will consist of schools competing in the Lone Star Conference, Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association and/or the Great American Conference. This year's game will feature Tarleton and Central Oklahoma. The game will benefit the Special Olympics of Navarro County.

TICKET INFORMATION
The Tarleton State Ticket Office is open from 1:30-4 p.m. in the main lobby of Wisdom Gym and can be reached by telephone at 254-968-1832. Cash, check, and cards are all accepted. Football tickets can be purchased at the main ticket office in Wisdom Gym for a discounted price of $7 for adults and $5 for students. The first 1,000 students with a valid ID will receive a free ticket, one per ID. On the day of a football game, however, tickets can be purchased at the gate for a cost of $10.
SERIES HISTORY
Saturday will mark the 11
th meeting between Tarleton and former LSC rival, Central Oklahoma. The Bronchos own a 7-3 lead in the all-time series, which hasn't been played since UCO left the Lone Star Conference to join the MIAA after 2010. This will be the first-ever meeting between the Texans and Brochos on a neutral site.
