THE GAME
Tarleton men's basketball returns home to take on Western New Mexico and Eastern New Mexico. The Texans will face the Mustangs on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and turn around and play the Greyhounds on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m.
 
THE BROADCAST
Each game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans, Byron Anderson, will be calling the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. The radio broadcast can be heard on KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville and surrounding areas or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive.
 
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS:
Western New Mexico comes in with a 2-6 record overall and 0-2 in the Lone Star Conference. The Mustangs opened up LSC play against WT and UTPB. WNMU is averaging 67.5 points while giving up 79.5 points to opponents. The Mustangs are led by Willie McCray's 16.5 points.
 
THE SERIES: WESTERN NEW MEXICO
Tarleton and Western New Mexico have played five times since the teams first met in 1992 with the Texans leading 4-1. The Texans have won four straight over the Mustangs and are 3-0 at home against WNMU.
 
ABOUT THE GREYHOUNDS:
Eastern New Mexico is 3-5 overall and 0-2 in the Lone Star Conference. ENMU comes in having lost four straight games. The Greyhounds are averaging 76.1 points and giving up 83 points per game. ENMU is led by Lamarquis Thompson's 14.1 points. The Greyhounds have three players who averaging double figures in scoring.
 
THE SERIES: EASTERN NEW MEXICO
Tarleton and Eastern New Mexico have played 49 times since they first met in 1993, with the Texans holding a 42-7 lead in the series. The Texans have won 11 straight over ENMU and 21 out of 22. Tarleton is 22-2 all time at home against the Greyhounds.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton went 1-1 on its first LSC road trip of the season, opening up with a 73-59 win at Midwestern State but fell to Cameron on Saturday, 64-63.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The Texans will welcome No. 13 Western Oregon to town for a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.
