THE GAME
Tarleton will grace the floor of Wisdom Gym for the first time since the season opener this week as the TexAnns return home for Lone Star Conference action against Western New Mexico Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Eastern New Mexico Saturday at 2 p.m.
 
GAME DAY PROMOTIONS
Tarleton has a big week of promotions beginning Thursday when the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders come to town for the game. On Saturday, Tarleton Athletics will partner with the local Optimist Club in their efforts to spread some Christmas cheer this holiday season. All fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game as a donation to the local drive. Anyone with a toy will receive one free admission to the game with every donation. There will also be free Santa pictures in the lobby and poster giveaways.
 
TARLETON SPORTS NETWORK
A complete radio and video broadcast of the game can be heard and seen on the Tarleton Sports Network presented by the North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the TexAnns, Kyle Crews will have the call on the flagship station of Tarleton Athletics – KTRL 90.5 FM in Stephenville – and worldwide at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive. TICKET INFORMATION
The Tarleton State Ticket Office is open from 1:30-4 p.m. in the main lobby of Wisdom Gym and can be reached by telephone at 254-968-1832. Cash, check, and cards are all accepted. Tarleton's Stephenville Campus Students receive free admission to all home games with valid Stephenville Campus Student ID.
 
A LOOK BACK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton suffered its third consecutive loss and two straight to begin Lone Star Conference play. The TexAnns fell to Midwestern State and Cameron on the road despite Mackenzie Hailey averaging 21.0 points per game over the last two.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES: WESTERN NEW MEXICO
Tarleton and Western New Mexico have met three times in their history, including last year's first two games as Lone Star Conference rivals. The TexAnns have wins in all three previous meetings, including an 84-70 win over the Mustangs in Stephenville last season.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES: EASTERN NEW MEXICO
Tarleton and Eastern New Mexico boast a 46-game history since the inaugural meeting in 1980. The TexAnns have won 32 game all-time against the Greyhounds, formerly named the Zias. Tarleton is 17-6 all-time in Stephenville and have won 28 of the last 32 meetings dating back to 2001.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will take a break for final exams and return to action with a road trip to Fort Smith, Arkansas for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday, Dec. 16.
