Tarleton Baseball alters home series against Arkansas-Fort Smith
The Texans will return home after two weekends away to host Arkansas-Fort Smith for a three-game series Friday and Saturday, but the Texans have announced some changes for the weekend.
The series, which was originally scheduled as a 1-2 series, will now switch to a 2-1 series with the Texans playing a doubleheader Friday beginning at 1 p.m. and wrapping up Saturday with a single, nine-inning affair at 1 p.m.
Tarleton is currently 7-2 on the season and is ranked No. 8 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association media poll.
Tennis match for Friday canceled, will host UTPB Saturday to open LSC action
Tarleton's originally scheduled tennis match set for Friday against Academy of Art has been canceled.
The TexAnn Tennis team will still travel to Abilene Thursday for a showdown with NCAA Division I Abilene Christian at 12 p.m. and will then return home for a one day break before hosting UT Permian Basin in the Lone Star Conference opener Saturday at 1 p.m.
Tarleton is currently ranked No. 44 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's national rankings and No. 6 in the ITA South Central regional rankings.
