THE GAMES
For the second consecutive weekend, Tarleton will square off against a Lone Star Conference rival in a non-conference series – this time with four regional games in Lawton against Cameron. Following an announcement made late Thursday afternoon, the Texans will open the series with a 12 p.m. doubleheader Friday and will be followed with single games on Saturday and Sunday.
SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS
Due to impending weather, the Texans and Aggies altered the schedule from a 1-2-1 series to the now scheduled 2-1-1 series from Friday through Sunday. The Friday doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m. while the Saturday game is set for 12 p.m. and the Sunday game for 1 p.m.
ABOUT THE TEAMS
Tarleton comes into the series fresh off win over St. Mary's, in which the Texans rallied for six runs in the eighth that was capped off by a game-winning grand slam from
Dylan Lemons. The win improved Tarleton to a 12-5 record this season. The Texans are hitting .283 as a team and boast a team ERA of 3.91. Meanwhile, Cameron comes in with a 14-3 record including three straight wins. The Aggies are hitting .347 as a team, which ranks them No. 15 in the nation, while their pitching staff has a team ERA of 5.55.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Tarleton and Cameron have met 72 times since the series began in 1995 and the Texans own the all-time record 45-27. Tarleton is 24-14 all-time against the Aggies in Lawton and has won nine of the last 13 meetings in Lawton since 2012.

The Texans will come back to Stephenville next weekend for a three-game series against No. 30 Lubbock Christian, beginning with a Friday doubleheader at 1 p.m.
