THE GAMES
As the season winds down, Tarleton makes its final regular season road trip of the season this weekend when the Texans head to Wilder Park in Canyon for four pivotal games with the No. 18 West Texas A&M.

NEW GAME TIMES
Potential weather in the panhandle has forced West Texas A&M to change the game time of the series opener on Friday. The game was originally slated for a 6:30 p.m. start, but will now begin at 3 p.m. All of the other games are scheduled to begin on time, but weather could force changes throughout the weekend.

ABOUT THE TEXANS
Tarleton is coming off a four-game sweep of UT Permian Basin last weekend to improve its record to 23-17 overall and 6-9 in Lone Star Conference action. The Texans head into the weekend hitting .298 as a team this season, led by five .300 hitters with at least 100 at bats. The Texan pitching staff has a team ERA of 4.22, led by a 0.73 ERA from Hunter Houston out of the bullpen in 12.1 innings of work.

ABOUT THE BUFFS
The No. 18 Buffs head into the weekend with a record of 27-9, including a 15-3 mark at home. West Texas A&M is hitting .326 as a team, led by Nick Canas with a .400 hitting mark in 125 at bats. The WT pitching staff has a team ERA of 3.03, led by Marshall Kasowski with a 1.91 ERA in 10 starts.

MILESTONE WATCH
Tarleton's Hunter Houston has taken sole possession of fourth place on Tarleton's all-time saves list with 11 in his career. He is five saves away from moving into a tie for the top spot in the Texan record book with Keith Westberry (16) and passing Ryan Turner (12) and Britt Robertshaw (14).

SERIES HISTORY
Despite dropping three of four to West Texas A&M in a non-conference series earlier this year, the Texans still maintain an all-time advantage in the series over the Buffs 59-49-1 since the series began in 1994. Tarleton is 20-23-1 all-time in Canyon.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The Texans will return home for the regular season finale against Cameron next weekend in a battle for what could be the final playoff spot in the Lone Star Conference tournament. Tarleton and Cameron will play a four-game series, beginning next Friday at 3 p.m. in Stephenville.
