THE GAME
Tarleton men's basketball is making its second road trip of the season as they head to No. 18 Texas A&M-Commerce on Tuesday, January 9 for a 7:30 p.m. game at the Field House.
THE BROADCAST
Each game will have a live radio broadcast presented by the Tarleton Sports Network presented by North Texas Ford Dealers. The Voice of the Texans, Byron Anderson, will be calling the play-by-play for Tarleton basketball this season. ABOUT THE LIONS:
Texas A&M-Commerce is off to one of the best starts in program history at 13-1 overall and 6-0 in the Lone Star Conference. The Lions have won three straight and are 5-0 at home. TAMUC is averaging 75 points and holding teams to an LSC-best 64.1 points. The Lions have three players averaging double figures, led by Willie Rooks' 15.4 points. Reggie Reid is averaging 14.6 points.
THE SERIES: A&M-COMMERCE
Tarleton and Texas A&M-Commerce are playing for the 51st time in program history, with the Texans leading the series 31-19. Tarleton is 11-11 all time on the road against the Lions.
LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville 74-66. Four Texans scored in double figures led by Corinthian Ramsey's 19 points while Josh Hawley recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
