Tarleton will take its five-game winning streak on the road this week for a pair of mid-week conference games against Texas A&M-Commerce and Texas Woman's. The TexAnns will visit Commerce Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and then head to Denton for a rare 11:30 a.m. game against Texas Woman's at Kitty Magee Arena.

A LOOK BACK AT LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton opened up the 2018 calendar year with back-to-back conference wins over Angelo State and Texas A&M-Kingsville. Against Angelo State, Tarleton put together one of its top all-around performances of the season Thursday night, which was sparked by a season-high 31-point scoring effort by the TexAnn bench. Senior
Baylee Peck poured in a career-high 11 points. Tarleton followed up Saturday with its best defensive showing in recent years as the TexAnns held Kingsville to 11 points in the first half on their way to the win.
INSIDE THE SERIES: TEXAS A&M-COMMERCE
The all-time women's basketball series between Tarleton and Texas A&M-Commerce has a rich history, especially over the last four seasons under head coaches
Misty Wilson and Jason Burton. Both head coaches have a near-identical coaching record – Wilson at 59-40 and Burton at 58-41 – in their respective careers and have faced off eight times in the past three years (4-4), including two consecutive years to open the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament. Tarleton owns a 30-21 lead in the all-time series since 1979 and are 9-14 in Commerce.
INSIDE THE SERIES: TEXAS WOMAN'S
Tarleton and Texas Woman's have met 46 times since 1978 and the TexAnns own a 30-16 advantage in the all-time series. Over the past three seasons, Texas Woman's has won five of the last seven meetings. Tarleton's last win in Denton came on Dec. 1, 2012.

Tarleton will return to its tradition Thursday-Saturday schedule next week with two more road games as the TexAnns head to Canyon Thursday to face off with No. 2 West Texas A&M and then to Odessa Saturday to play UT Permian Basin.
