Lone Star Conference play is heating up as the TexAnns look to build off last Saturday's win with a Tuesday night road trip to Commerce for a showdown with the Lions. Tarleton will then return home to close out their week's games with a Thursday night game against Texas Woman's in Wisdom Gym. Both games will tip-off at 5:30 p.m.

TICKET INFORMATION
The Tarleton State Ticket Office is open from 1:30-4 p.m. in the main lobby of Wisdom Gym and can be reached by telephone at 254-968-1832. Tarleton's Stephenville Campus Students receive free admission to all home games with valid Stephenville Campus Student ID. Online tickets can be purchased by visting TarletonSports.com/Tickets. Tickets for the Commerce game can be purchased at the gate on game day.

McKinley Bostad,
Mackenzie Hailey, and
Katie Webster combined for 57 points as Tarleton led from start to finish to top MSU Texas, 80-68, at D.L. Ligon Colesium. The TexAnns (9-3, 2-2) shot 52 percent from the floor and made 24 free throws to down the Mustangs on the road. It's the second straight 20-point game for Hailey, who also had a team-leading eight rebounds and three steals, and the second 20-point effort in three games for Bostad, who registered six rebounds and a game-high five assists. It's also the fourth time in six games that the TexAnn offense has scored at least 80 points, going 5-1 in that span.
STEPHENVILLE APARTMENTS STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE MONTH
Kylie Collins was named the Stephenville Apartments Student-Athlete of the Month for December. Collins and the Tarleton Women's Basketball team went 3-1 in the month of December with an exhibition game left to play on Saturday at 2 p.m. Collins shot .412 from the floor and .357 from beyond the arc during the month of December while helping Tarleton win three straight over Arlington Baptist, St. Edward's and Arkansas-Fort Smith. Collins also dished out seven assists over those four games.
INSIDE THE SERIES: TEXAS A&M-COMMERCE
The all-time women's basketball series between Tarleton and Texas A&M-Commerce has a rich history, especially over the five-year careers of head coaches
Misty Wilson and Jason Burton. Both head coaches have a near-identical coaching record – Wilson at 79-50 and Burton at 76-52 – in their respective careers and have faced off 10 times in the past four years (5-5), including two straight years to open the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament in Allen. Tarleton owns a 31-22 lead in the all-time series since 1979 and are 9-15 in Commerce.
INSIDE THE SERIES: TEXAS WOMAN'S
Tarleton and Texas Woman's have met 48 times since 1978 and the TexAnns own a 31-17 advantage in the all-time series. Tarleton split last year's games with the Pioneers, earning their first win in Denton since 2012 and falling in Stephenville. The TexAnns hold a 19-4 all-time edge in the series at home.
