The Lady Chaps went on to claim the 2019 National Championship. The Texans lead the all-time series 21-6 and hold the advantage in Lubbock, 7-3. Lubbock Christian enters the game 8-0 on the season and are ranked No. 2 in the nation by WBCA and No. 1 by D2SIDA.

STRANGE READY TO SUIT UP FOR TEXAN BASKETBALL
Tarleton Volleyball player Amber Strange will suit up for head coach Misty Wilson and the Texan Women's Basketball program for the first time this season on Saturday. After being away from the court for three years, Strange was ready to make her return. Strange, a junior, has played for the volleyball team for three seasons. Earlier this year, the outside hitter approached Coach Wilson and volleyball head coach Mary Schindler about joining the basketball team next season. Both agreed that as long as it didn't interfere with volleyball, she could join. Strange helped lead the Texan volleyball team to their sixth straight NCAA Regional Tournament. Now that the volleyball season has ended, Strange will switch out uniforms and join the basketball team in Lubbock this weekend. Strange last played basketball at Granbury High School, where she lettered four years and was a team captain for head coach Steve Schmidt. She was named All-State Honorable Mention her senior year.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
After three-straight games on the road, the Texans will head back to Wisdom for two Lone Star Conference match-ups. First, Tarleton will face UT-Tyler on Thursday, December 19th at 5:30 p.m. The Texans will then take on No. 10 Texas A&M-Commerce on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
