Tarleton Men's Basketball (4-5, 0-3 LSC) returns home after a two-game road trip to start a five-game homestand beginning with UT Tyler on Thursday, Dec. 19 and against on Saturday, Dec. 21 against Texas A&M-Commerce. Tarleton fell to Lubbock Christian 79-72 on Dec. 14 to move to 4-5 overall and 0-3 in the Lone Star Conference.  Josh Hawley led the Texans with 14 points and 13 rebounds for his LSC-leading eighth double-double of the season.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES: UT TYLER
Tarleton and UT Tyler are meeting for the first time in prgrgam history. This is the first season the Patriots are in the LSC after transitioning from NCAA Division III to Division II.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES: A&M-COMMERCE
Tarleton and Texas A&M-Commerce are meeting for the 55th time since they first played in 1990. The Texans lead the all-time series 32-22 and are 18-6 in Wisdom Gym against the Lions. A&M-Commerce has won the last two meetings, both from last season.

• Points: 1,303 (6th all time); Needs 22 points to pass Steve Sassman for 5th place.
• Rebounds: 777 (5th all time); Needs 4 rebounds to pass Danny Jones to 4th place.
• Steals: 140 (7th place); Needs 2 steals to pass Brandon Lee for 6th place.
• Blocks: 121 (4th place); Needs 16 blocks to pass Sean Walker for 3rd place.
• Double-Doubles: 32 (T-4th place); Needs 1 tie Jerry King for 3rd place.
