Tarleton defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State, 71-63, for their fourth win of the season.
Clashon Gaffney posted his first career double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds – both career highs for the junior forward. He also added a season-high three blocks. Hawley has been on a tear as of late, posting his fifth straight (sixth overall) double-double with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds.
INSIDE THE SERIES: ANGELO STATE
Tarleton and Angelo State are meeting for the 54th time since they first played in 1989. Tarleton leads the all-time series 35-18 over the Rams. Angelo State has won the last two meetings against the Texans.
