The Tarleton Women's Basketball team (5-1, 0-1 LSC) will face its biggest test of the season as they travel to Angelo State to take on the Rambelles. Both teams are looking for their first Lone Star Conference victory after dropping their conference openers.

The Texans are coming off a thrilling road win over Pittsburg State.
 
Tarleton used a big third quarter to erase an eight-point halftime deficit and defeat perennial MIAA power Pittsburg State 83-76 on the road Wednesday afternoon.
 
Tarleton had five different Texans score double figures, led by Hailey's first 20-point performance of the season. The senior scored her 20 points on a .583 shooting percentage to go along with eight rebounds.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES: ANGELO STATE
The Texans and Rambelles last met in March, where Tarleton fell to Angelo State in the semifinal game of the Lone Star Conference Tournament, 103-108. The Texans lead the all-time series 31-28. Angelo State enters the game 3-2 on the season.
 
HAILEY EARNS LSC WEEKLY HONORS AFTER 20-POINT ROAD PERFORMANCE
Following a 20-point performance in Pittsburg, Hailey has been named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
 
Hailey tied her season high with 20 points in Tarleton's 83-76 road win over Pittsburg State to improve to 5-1 on the season. The senior forward also added 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block in the win. Hailey was 7-of-12 from the field (58.3 percent) and hit 6-of-7 from the free throw line. As a team, Tarleton shot 55.7%, their highest field goal percentage of the season.
 
It's the third LSC Offensive Player of the Week award of career and sixth total LSC Weekly Award for Hailey in her four-year career.

The Texans will head to Lubbock to battle the defending national champions No. 2 Lubbock Christian on Saturday, December 14th at 5:30 p.m.
