THE GAMES
After three weeks on the road to begin the season, Tarleton Baseball will make its home debut this weekend in a weather-altered, four-game series against UC-Colorado Springs. The series, which was originally supposed a 1-2-1 series, will be played in back-to-back, seven-inning doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's twin bill will begin at 1 p.m. and Sunday's games will begin at 11 a.m.

This series was originally scheduled to be a 1-2-1 series, but weather on Friday forced the change to back-to-back doubleheaders.

The temperature in Stephenville will range in the 60s with minimal chance of rain. If the weather affects game play, updates will be posted as they become available on the @TarletonSports twitter account and Facebook pages.

SPECIAL CEREMONY SATURDAY
Tarleton will recognize the 2018 Lone Star Conference Tournament Champion Texan Baseball team in a pregame ceremony on Saturday. The Texans went 35-17 last season and won the second LSC Tournament title in program history. They will be presented with their championship rings in a ceremony at 12:40 p.m.

Tarleton dropped three of four to UAFS in Arkansas last weekend. The game-two victory last Saturday came on the strength of a one-hit shutout by
Brian Archibald, who earned LSC Pitcher of the Week honors with the effort.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton will start its run of three straight series against league rivals in non-conference competiton. The Texans will travel to San Angelo for four non-conference games against Angelo State next weekend, beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m.
