STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton suffered a 4-3 loss to Cameron in Lone Star Conference action at the Potishman-Lard Tennis Complex in Stephenville Tuesday afternoon.
 
Shelby Fillingame and Nathalie Ulander paired up in the No. 3 position and earned the first win of the day 6-3 in doubles, but Tarleton couldn't complete the doubles point by falling 6-4 and 7-6 in the No. 2 and 1 matches, respectively.
 
In singles, Tarleton took three of the first four singles matches to take a 3-2 advantage. Neetika Sud handled the No. 2 match 6-1, 6-1 while Shelby Fillingame (6-1, 6-3) and Nathalie Ulander (6-2, 6-3) completed their perfect afternoon with wins in the No. 6 and 5 spots, respectively.
 
Ulander improved to a team-best 9-2 in singles play on the season and 3-0 in league action. Sud also improved to 3-0 in Lone Star Conference play.
