THE GAMES
Tarleton will invade the Comerica Center, formerly Dr Pepper Arena, this week as the TexAnns look to capture the third Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship in program history. The TexAnns' run to the title begins at noon on Friday when No. 3-seed Tarleton takes on No. 6-seed MSU Texas in the tournament quarterfinals.
PATH TO THE TITLE
Tarleton will need to win three games to capture its third LSC Tournament Championship in program history – all since 2012. The TexAnns will need to be victorious against MSU Texas in the opening round on Friday at noon before advancing to the semifinals against the winner of Angelo State and Texas Woman's. The semifinal game is set for 8:30 p.m. Saturday night. If Tarleton advances to the championship, they will play the advancing team from the opposite side of the bracket, which includes (1) West Texas A&M, (8) Texas A&M-Kingsville, (4) Eastern New Mexico, and (5) Texas A&M-Commerce. The championship game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

TICKET INFORMATION
The all-session tickets are $60. Tickets will be available at the Comerica Center Box Office or through Ticketmaster (
www.ticketmaster.com) starting today as well. Single-session tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students (university students with valid school I.D. (any institution) or children ages 2-18).
THE LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton comes into the tournament as one of the hottest teams in the country. The TexAnns have won nine of their last 10 games, including a road trip sweep of Western New Mexico and UT Permian Basin last weekend. Last week's wins gave head coach
Misty Wilson a new career high for wins in a season (21) and allowed Tarleton to lock up the No. 3 seed.
TARLETON'S TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Tarleton is headed to the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament for the 17
th time in program history and 16
th consecutive season since 2004. The TexAnns own an all-time tournament record of 14-14, which is the eighth-highest winning percentage (.500) in the history of the league's postseason tournament. Tarleton has appeared in four LSC Tournament finals with two championships (2012, 2017).
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
Tarleton is primed for its ninth invitation into the national tournament with the chance to compete for a national championship. The TexAnns will await their fate until the NCAA Selection Show, which is scheduled for Sunday, March 10 at 9 p.m. CT on NCAA.com. If Tarleton wins the LSC Tournament, they will receive an automatic bid into the national tournament.
