TICKET INFORMATION
The Tarleton Office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m. on weekdays and can be reached by telephone at 254-968-1832. Cash, check, and cards are all accepted. The football box office will open at 10 a.m. on game days and the gates will open two hours prior to kickoff. Ticket prices range from $25 for chairback seating down to $15 for general admission. ABOUT THE TEXANS
Tarleton enters week three as the No. 4 ranked team in the nation after a 2-0 start. The Texans lead the nation in offense with 641 yards per contest. With a school-record 673 yards against SFA and 609 yards against Doane, it marks the first time in program history the Texans have back-to-back games with over 600 yards of offense. The Texans enter week three with a 12-game regular season winning streak and have the fourth-longest home winning streak in NCAA Division II with nine straight wins. The Texans are averaging 46.5 points and holding teams to 14.5 points while out-gaining teams in total yards 641-249 per game.
Ben Holmes comes in leading the LSC with 587 passing yards and five TDs. Holmes' top targets have been
J.F. Thomas (245 yards, 3 TD) and
Zimari Manning (239 yards, 2 TD).
Khalil Banks and
Daniel McCants have led the running game with Banks posting 192 yards and 2 TDs and McCants adding 190 yards and 2 TDs. Defensively,
Tank Morgan leads the team in tackles with 12, while
B.J. Jefferson has three tackles for loss and two sacks.
Tre Johnson leads the secondary with four pass breakups.

SERIES HISTORY
Tarleton and West Texas A&M are meeting for the 29th time since the first met in 1990. WT leads the series 15-13, but the Texans have won the last two meetings, including a 44-7 win in Canyon last season. Tarleton is 7-6 at home against WT and has won the last two meetings at Memorial Stadium. In 2013, it was WT that was ranked No. 4 and played in Stephenville on Family Weekend with the Texans upsetting the Buffs 31-27 by scoring 28 unanswered points. This Saturday, with the Texans ranked No. 4, will be the first ranked matchup between the two teams since that 2013 game.
