Tarleton Men's Basketball renews an old rivalry with Abilene Christian on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Teague Center. It marks the first meeting between Tarleton and ACU since 2013 when they were in the Lone Star Conference together. The Texans enter the game 1-1 while the Wildcats are 4-0 to start the season.

ATTENDING THE GAME
 
Abilene Christian is playing its basketball games at the Teague Center this season due to renovations to Moody Coliseum. Attendance is restricted to season ticket holders and team pass lists only. No walk up or single-game ticket sales are allowed at Abilene Christian.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES: ABILENE CHRISTIAN
 
Tarleton and Abilene Christian are meeting for the 42nd time since they first played in 1989. Tarleton holds a commanding 33-8 during its time as Lone Star Conference rivals. The Texans have won nine straight over the Wildcats and 24 of the last 25 matchups. Tarleton hasn't lost to ACU since 2009. The Texans are 15-6 on the road against the Wildcats, having won four straight games in Abilene.
 
LAST TIME OUT
 
Tarleton nearly pulled off the upset of the season on the road at Texas A&M in coach Billy Gillispie's return to College Station. The Texans held a 10-point lead against the Aggies with 13 minutes to go, but ultimately fell 73-66. Montre' Gipson led the Texans with a career-high 23 points along with four rebounds and three steals.
