The Texans fell to St. Edward's 70-64 on Saturday in the final home game of the regular season in Wisdom Gym.
Tarleton honored two seniors prior to the game for Senior Day:
Mackenzie Hailey and
Kylie Collins. Collins led all players with a career high 23 points to go with 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Hailey followed with 16 points and 7 rebounds. The four-year senior duo combined for 39 points, the most this season from the seniors.
INSIDE THE SERIES: TEXAS A&M-INTERNATIONAL
The Texans and Dustdevils last met in early January, where Tarleton defeated International at home, 73-69. The Texans lead the all-time series, 5-1, while the Dustdevils hold the advantage in Laredo, 1-0.
INSIDE THE SERIES: TEXAS A&M-KINGSVILLE
The Texans and Javelinas last met in early January, where Tarleton defeated Kingsville in Wisdom, 81-38. The Texans lead the all-time series 33-18 and hold the advantage in Kingsville, 14-8. Kingsville will battle Texas Woman's on Thursday before Saturday's match-up.
LONE STAR CONFERENCE STANDINGS
The Texans still hold a one-game lead over the Rambelles for the fourth seed in the LSC standings, which guarantees them a first-round bye in the LSC tournament. Two wins OR one win and an Angelo State loss OR two losses and two Angelo State losses will secure No. 4 seed. The LSC Tournament is set for March 3-5-6-7-8 with the opening rounds taking place on campus and the final four rounds taking place at the Comerica Center in Frisco.
NCAA REGIONAL RANKINGS
The Texans are ranked No. 8 in this week's NCAA South Central Regional poll.
The Texans have defeated four of the 10 regionally-ranked teams this season, coming up with road wins against St. Edward's, West Texas A&M, and Eastern New Mexico, while defeating Colorado Mesa at home in the second game of the season.
Tarleton has qualified for nine NCAA regional tournaments, including each of the last three seasons, which is the second-longest streak in program history.

HEAD COACH MISTY WILSON RADIO SHOW
The
Misty Wilson Radio Show takes place every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. from the lobby of First Financial Bank. The sixth-year head coach of the Texans will join
Kyle Crews for a 30-minute program each week to discuss previous performances, upcoming opponents, and other storylines. Student-Athletes will join the show as well.
