Tarleton Men's Basketball (12-8, 8-6 LSC) returns home after a three-game road trip where the Texans will close out one of the biggest rivalries in NCAA Division II. The Texans will host Midwestern State on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. and then take on Cameron on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 4 p.m. Over the last month, the Texans have won eight of their last 10 games to jump back into the LSC divisional race. The Mustangs are 4-16 overall and 4-10 in the LSC this season while the Aggies are 6-14 overall and 5-9 in conference.

Zach Naylor also posted a career-high 15 points, while
Josh Hawley grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds with 14 points for his 37th career double-double.

Tarleton and Midwestern State are meeting for the 59th time and possibly the last in the storied matchup with the Texans moving up to NCAA Division I next season. The two rivals first played in 1989 and the 58 games heading into the series are the most games against a single opponent in Tarleton history. 12 of the 58 games have been decided by three points or less. Tarleton leads the all-time series 31-27 over the Mustangs and are 14-10 at home, including four straight victories in Wisdom Gym and haven't lost at home since 2015. The Texans have won seven straight over the Mustangs - the longest streak in the series by either team.

Tarleton and Cameron are meeting for the 41st time since they first met in 1994. The Texans lead the all-time series 31-9 and are a commanding 19-2 at home against the Aggies. The Texans have won six straight in Wisdom Gym and haven't lost since 2013.
