LAST TIME OUT
The Texans dominated the floor Saturday afternoon, defeating divisional rival St. Mary's by 15, 70-55. With the win, the Texans move to the top of their Lone Star Conference division with a 5-1 record.
The Texans shot 52.1% from the field and are now 13-0 when shooting over 40%.
Mackenzie Hailey and
Alexa Hoy led the Texans in scoring with 13 points each. Tarleton's bench tallied 28 points, led by
Marissa Escamilla with nine.
INSIDE THE SERIES: MIDWESTERN STATE
The Texans and Mustangs last met in the Lone Star Conference Tournament in 2019, where Tarleton defeated MSU in Frisco, 62-61. The Mustangs lead the all-time series 35-37, while the Texans hold the advantage in Wisdom, 19-15.
INSIDE THE SERIES: CAMERON
The Texans and Aggies last met in 2019, where Tarleton defeated Cameron in Wisdom, 69-67. The Aggies lead the all-time series 17-18, while the Texans hold the advantage in Stephenville, 9-8. Cameron will battle Texas Woman's on Thursday before heading to Tarleton for Saturday's match-up.

Mackenzie Hailey second among Texas women's basketball players (Division II) based on the NBA's formula for player efficiency rating.
Hailey is rated with an 18.53 efficiency mark.
Lucy Benson,
Marissa Escamilla, and
Alexa Hoy also appear in the top-50 of the list, ranked at No. 28, 33, and 46, respectively
MACK'S 32-GAME POINTS STREAK
Mackenzie Hailey has scored 10+ points in 32 straight games. The last time the senior forward did not have 10+ points was on Jan. 31 vs. Angelo State last season.

Kyle Crews for a 30-minute program each week to discuss previous performances, upcoming opponents, and other storylines. Student-Athletes will join the show as well.

The Texans will embark on a two-game road trip next weekend. First, the Texans will face No. 16 West Texas A&M in Canyon on Thursday, February 13th at 5:30 p.m. Tarleton will then head to Portales, New Mexico to face Eastern New Mexico at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
