The Texans will go on the road for two midweek matchups against UT Arlington and Texas A&M.

Tarleton takes the big stage as they take on UT Arlington at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. CT. This is the 16
th time these two teams will compete against each other but the first time since April 3, 2002. This will be UT Arlington's first game of the season after their series opener against Texas A&M Corpus Christi was cancelled.

The Texans will then head to College Station to face Texas A&M on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 6:30 p.m. CT. This is only the third time these two schools are meeting and the first time since April 19, 1999. Texas A&M is currently 1-2 on the season after a three-game series with Xavier.

INSIDE THE SERIES: UT-ARLINGTON
This will be Tarleton and UT Arlington's first meeting since April 3, 2002. In 15 career meetings, UT Arlington leads Tarleton 14-1. The lone Tarleton win came in 1998, where the Texans won 13-1 in Arlington.

INSIDE THE SERIES: TEXAS A&M

Tarleton and Texas A&M are meeting on the diamond for the first time since April 19, 1999. Texas A&M leads the series 2-0 as the topped the Texans 9-4 in 1998 and 7-2 in 1999.

LAST TIME OUT: ABILENE CHRISTIAN

Tarleton fell in the opening two games with Abilene Christian before returning to Stephenville for the series finale where they defeated the Wildcats 10-4 in game three of the series.

They claimed their first win as a Division I program after the game three win. The first runs of the win came from
Cody Vannoy's RBI double to score
Kemuel Thomas-Rivera. Following the first score,
Wade Raburn hit a two-run single plating
Cameron Lang and Vannoy. The pitching staff allowed only one earned run and struck out 10 Wildcats.

UP NEXT FOR TARLETON: NORTHWESTERN STATE

The Texans will travel to Natchitoches, LA where they will take on the Northwestern State Demons at Brown-Stroud Field. The three-game series will take place on February 26-28 and first pitch for the weekend will be on Friday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m.
