AT A GLANCE
The Texans will host Sacramento State for their first Western Athletic Conference matchups of the season. First pitch for the series is slated for 12 p.m. Friday, March 12 and will consist of a doubleheader for day one of the four-game series. Game three is slated to begin at 2 p.m. Saturday and game four is slated to begin at 1 p.m. Sunday. Saturday and Sunday's games are subject to change due to inclement weather expected in the area.

Tarleton is 6-8 on the season after a midweek win over future WAC opponent Lamar. Sacramento State is 7-4 so far this season coming off of a four-game split series with Santa Clara.

The Texans and Hornets are meeting for the first time in program history.

LAST TIME OUT: LAMAR
The Texans came out with the win over future WAC opponent Lamar after scoring six runs in the seventh inning and erasing a six-run deficit for a 10-6 victory over the Cardinals.
Â
London Green had a 4-for-4 game with two doubles and two runs to lead the Texan offense.
Tyler Fowler,
Bryan Aguilar, and
Colby Feris all had a two-hit outing helping propel the Texans to the victory.

Four Texans were on the mound for the Texans, but
Luke Baley got the win recording his first win of the season throwing two shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out three.

The Texans will travel to Dallas Baptist next to take on the Patriots in a four-game series beginning on Thursday March 18 to Sunday March 21.
