Riverside – The Texans and Lancers kept it close in the series finale, but Tarleton ultimately fell in the series finale 1-3.

Kemuel Thomas-Rivera recorded the only run today for the Texans with a leadoff solo home run in the top of the 4
th to tie up the game. The Lancers had two runs come across in the 7
th to take the lead while the Texans loaded the bases in the 9
th they couldn't get any more runs across and CBU took the series finale.

The Texans recorded seven hits today from six different players with
Blake Burns being the only Texans to record two-hits on the day.

Colby Seltzer each recorded a double today.

Landon Cody got the start on the mound tonight going 2.1 innings and only allowing one run.
Luke Baley came in to relieve Cody recording a game high seven strikeouts, allowing two runs on four hits. A.J. Wood closed out the game pitching one inning and striking out two.

The Texans will return home for a four-game conference series against Dixie State at the Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex. Game one will be Thursday, with a doubleheader Friday and a single series final game on Saturday.
