The Texans are returning home after a seven-game road stint against Dallas Baptist in Dallas and WAC opponent California Baptist in Riverside, CA. Tarleton will face-off against the Trailblazers of Dixie State in a four-game conference series, the Texans third conference matchup of the season.

Dixie State (6-15) have competed against three WAC opponents already this year, New Mexico State, UTRGV, and Sacramento State. The Texans and Trailblazers each went 1-3 against WAC foe Sacramento State in their respective games.

Tarleton and Dixie State are both WAC newcomers and are facing off for the first time in school history.

This will be the first time the Trailblazers and Texans are meeting in program history.

LAST TIME OUT: CALIFORNIA BAPTIST
The Texans played in a four-game series against WAC foe California Baptist in Riverside, CA. The Texans fell in all four games but battled and pushed the Lancers until the end in each game.

Most of the Texans runs in the four-game series came from home runs, which the Texans recorded four on the weekend.

Tarleton will face-off against nonconference program TCU at home. Tarleton and TCU are scheduled for a home-and-home matchup this season with game one at Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex Tuesday, April 6. First pitch for Tuesday's matchup is slated for 3 p.m.
