The Texans host the Aggies of New Mexico State in a four-game conference series this weekend. The series will be the first matchups between the two teams in program history. The Texans and Aggies first game is slated for 3 p.m. CT on Friday, April 23 with a doubleheader Saturday and a series finale Sunday.

The Texans are 15-24 this season after a weekend WAC series win over Utah Valley and a midweek game against Big XII program TCU. The Aggies are 11-21 after a weekend WAC series with Grand Canyon.

Tarleton and New Mexico State are meeting for the 1st time in program history.

LAST TIME OUT: UTAH VALLEY
Tarleton baseball faced off against Utah Valley in Orem, Utah and won three out of the four games on the weekend. The series started off with three straight Texan wins followed by series-ending loss to cap off the weekend.

The Texans won game one in 10 innings 4-3 for the fourth extra innings game over this season. They then took the Saturday twin bill sweep over the Wolverines with a comeback six run 7
th inning to take the first game of the day and keeping the Wolverines scoreless until the 8
th inning in game two.

Tarleton will be heading to Greeley, Colorado to take on the Bears of Northern Colorado for a four-game conference series. First pitch against Northern Colorado is slated for 3 p.m. Friday, April 30 with a doubleheader Saturday and a series finale Sunday.
