AT A GLANCE
The Texans are on the road again to take on the Bears of Northern Colorado in a four-game conference series this weekend. The series will be the first matchups between the two teams in program history. The Texans and Bears first game is slated for 3 p.m. CT on Friday, April 30 with a doubleheader Saturday and a series finale Sunday.
 
The Texans are 17-26 this season after a weekend WAC series split with New Mexico State. The Bears are 9-24 after a weekend WAC series split with Sacramento State.

INSIDE THE SERIES: NORTHERN COLORADO
Tarleton and Northern Colorado are meeting for the 1st time in program history.
 
LAST TIME OUT: NEW MEXICO STATE
Tarleton baseball faced off against New Mexico State at home and split the series with the Aggies 2-2. The series started off with two straight wins for the Texans after a five hour rain delay game was won by the Texans 12-8 and a great outing from Luke Baley helped the Texans win game two 4-1. The Texans fell in the next two games of the series.
 
London Green had a stellar weekend going 7-for-13 at the plate with 2 doubles, a home run and four RBI. He didn't strike out once in the four-game series. Alex Pinedo had a good start on the mound Friday night and AJ Wood picked up two more saves and is ranked second in the WAC in that category.
 
UP NEXT
Tarleton will close out an eight-game road stand at UTRGV. The Texans will face the Vaqueros for a four-game conference series before heading home to close out their season against Grand Canyon.
