INSIDE THE SERIES: TCU
The Texans and Horned Frogs have faced off 18 previous times with TCU leading the matchups 18-2. The first time the two teams met was on Feb. 19, 1988 in Stephenville. TCU leads 6-1 when playing in Stephenville and 12-1 in Fort Worth.
 
Tarleton has the current win streak with one win on March 26, 2000 in Fort Worth where they defeated the Horned Frogs 8-5. That was the last time the two teams met.
 
LAST TIME OUT: DIXIE STATE
Tarleton is coming off a four-game conference series against Dixie State where they came out 1-3 on the weekend. Tarleton defeated the Trailblazers in game one 10-9 in extra innings on a walk-off single from Tyler Fowler.
The Texans dropped the next three games of the series with a doubleheader on Friday and a single game series finale on Saturday.

Tarleton is headed to Seattle next to take on Seattle University in a four-game conference series this weekend. Game one is slated for 6 p.m. on Friday April 9, with a doubleheader Saturday and a series finale Sunday.
