AT A GLANCE
The Texans are traveling to Seattle, WA to take on Seattle U in a four-game conference series this weekend. The four-game series is the start of a season long nine-game road stand. The Texans and Redhawks first game is slated for 6 p.m. CT on Friday April, 9, with a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. CT Saturday and a series finale at 2 p.m. CT Sunday.
 
Tarleton and Seattle U are meeting for the 1st time in program history. The Texans are 9-21 this season after a weekend WAC series with Dixie State and a midweek game against Big XII program TCU. The Redhawks are 9-13 after a weekend WAC series with Northern Colorado was canceled and they picked up a non-conference game against Pacific Lutheran.

INSIDE THE SERIES: SEATTLE U
Tarleton and Seattle U are meeting for the 1st time in program history.
LAST TIME OUT: TCU
Tarleton Baseball gave No. 10 TCU all they could handle in the first-ever matchup with a ranked NCAA Division I opponent at the Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex.
 
The Texans out-hit the Horned Frogs in the midweek slugfest that combined for 28 hits, but TCU took advantage of Tarleton's errors in a 13-9 victory. The Texans had 15 hits on the day compared to TCU's 13 hits.

Bryan Aguilar led the Texans going 3-for-5 with a grand slam, four RBI, two runs and a walk. London Green was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate.
 
UP NEXT
Tarleton is facing off against Big XII program TCU for the second time this season. First pitch against the Horned Frogs is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth on Tuesday, April 13.
