AT A GLANCE
The Texans are back home to close out their inaugural Division I season and to take on the Lopes of Grand Canyon in a four-game conference series. The series will be the first matchup between the two teams in program history. The Texans and Lopes first game, which will also be senior night, is slated for 1 p.m. CT on Friday, May 14 with a doubleheader Saturday and a series finale Sunday.
 
The Texans are 20-31 this season after a weekend WAC series with UTRGV. The Lopes are 30-17 after sweeping WAC opponent Dixie State last weekend.

Friday afternoons game will also be senior night and the seniors will be honored after the conclusion of the game.

INSIDE THE SERIES: GRAND CANYON
Tarleton and Grand Canyon are meeting for the first time in program history.
 
LAST TIME OUT: UTRGV
Tarleton baseball faced off against UTRGV on the road and fell in the series 1-3. The series stated out with the Texans falling in game one and then splitting the Saturday doubleheader with the Vaqueros.
 
UP NEXT
Tarleton is closing out its season with their weekend with Grand Canyon. As their 2021 season comes to a close, the Texans are not eligible for post-season play due to being in their first year of transitioning to Division I.
