STEPHENVILLE, Texas – Tarleton State Soccer concludes its WAC road slate with its third and final match away from home with a 3 p.m. contest on Saturday at Seattle U at Championship Field.

Last week the Texans split a pair of road tilts. The Texans earned a tough 2-1 victory at CBU to start the week, snapping the Lancers WAC regular season and home unbeaten streaks. 
Sam Liaty and 
Victoria Cameron each notched a goal to carry the Texans. Tarleton was unable to overcome the unbeaten GCU Lopes on Sunday, dropping in a 1-0 decision. Keeper 
Mikayla Kendall notched 21 saves while allowing just two goal across the pair of games.
 
In the third year of the program, many records are beginning to be broken in 2024. 
Stevie Reynolds has posted 25 shots this season, the third most in a single season in program history. She is just three shots shy from tying the program record set by 
Avery Harr a season ago. Reynolds is also chasing Harr's shots on goal single season record. The junior transfer has 15 shots on goal, tying Harr's second-best total for the inaugural season. Harr's 20 from last season is the current program record. In her third season with the Texans junior 
Jaycie Bass is the new assists career record holder in program history. She has notched four this season totaling eight during her three years with the Texans surpassing Kiki Baurmann's mark of seven in her lone season in 2022. 
Jenaya Brown's 44 shots is the second most in a Texan career. She trails 
Avery Harr's 49 set in her first two seasons with the program.
Goalkeeper 
Mikayla Kendall has totaled 79 saves, the most in the conference and ranks 13th in the NCAA. She is second among WAC goalies with 1190 minutes played and four shutouts. She also has two combined shutouts with fellow keeper 
Rylie Bloomfield.
The Orange, Calif. native,  touts a 0.907 GAA which is fourth in the league. The junior is ranks eighth among active D1 goalies with 5.41 career saves per game. She is also 25th with 265 total saves.
 
The Purple and White lead the WAC with a +11 goal differential, and a .517 shot accuracy. TSU ranks second in the WAC in total goals (25), points (69), and fouls (6.87). Tarleton is third in the WAC in total assists with 19, 1.67 goals per game and 4.60 points per game. The Texan goalkeepers rank 16
th in the nation and second in the WAC with a .867 save percentage. The staff is 27th in the country with 6.07 saves per game, which tops the WAC.
 
The Texans are one of six teams in the nation to have at least 12 different goal scorers. Tarleton has the most goal scorers in the WAC. Last season, the Purple and White had 10 different scorers throughout the season.  In 2022, the Texans recorded 12 different goal scorers across the span of the entire year. Arkansas leads the nation with 17 different scores trailed by Iowa with 13. Tarleton State joins, Fairfield, Auburn and Duke with 12.
Head coach 
Pete Cuadrado is in his 21st season as a collegiate head coach with Tarleton his third stop on his journey. He started his career at North Dakota State before spending time at Wyoming. During his career, he has amassed 184 wins, with 14 of those coming in the first three seasons of the Tarleton program.
 
Cuadrado retained both of his assistants from the previous two seasons and added a new face to the staff ahead of the 2024 campaign. Assistant coaches 
Rex Carrell and 
Delaney Castor  will be on the sidelines for their third season, while Carrell was also a part of the building of the team in 2021, marking 2024 his fourth year with the program. Cuadrado added Stephenville native and retired professional soccer player 
Bailey Chaviers ahead of the season. Chaviers spent three years at The U, before heading overseas to play two seasons in Iceland. She then returned to the United States for the 2023 season but was injured during the preseason for the Chicago Red Stars.
 
Tarleton State will head back to Stephenville to close out the final three contests of the WAC regular season. The Texans will host Utah Tech on Thursday night for Military Appreciation Night with fans receiving free scarves with kick slated for 7 p.m. The Texans will close the weekend with a Sunday matchup against Southern Utah at 1 p.m. on the second annual Soctoberfest. Fans will be able to ride a mechanical bull, receive a free Soctoberfest pint glass and Auntie Anne's pretzels.
